TGI Fridays @ Paradigm Mall

TGI Fridays!!! In here, it's always Friday. I think this is most people wish as well huh! Anyway, I went here for dinner last Wednesday after buying some books in Popular Bookstore using my BRIM voucher which is going to expire at the end of this month. Was deciding to eat this or Sakae Sushi. Since my bro-in-law has this Pinch of Salt card which entitled him to a RM30 birthday voucher, we decided to eat this instead. For your information, this is my first time eating TGI Fridays. I know this is so outdated right. Lol. There were a few restaurants which I think that most people have tried before which I never try before. One is TGI Fridays and the other two are Plan B and Chili's. 

So, this is the interior of TGI Fridays in Paradigm Mall.

Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta (RM32.90)

Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta are seasoned and sauteed with green and red bell peppers, then tossed with fettuccine and creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce and finally topped with freshly shaved Parmesan Cheese and green onions. I think this combination was perfect. Usually, I do not really like to eat too creamy or too cheesy food but I am okay with this. In other word to say, yes, it is quite nice lah!!

Chicken Fingers (RM25.90)

Chicken Fingers is actually a golden fried hand-battered chicken tenders. It is served with crispy fries and honey mustard dressing for dipping. The chicken itself is not very tasty but when you dip it in the honey mustard dressing then the taste is okay. This sweet and sour sauce is quite appetizing as well.

Tennessee Burger (RM29.90)

Their Tennesse Burger on the other hand is glazed with Tennessee sauce and stacked with two strips of crispy beef bacon and Monterey Jack cheese on a toasted bun accompanied with shredded lettuce, tomato, pickle slices, onion and served with crispy fries and a side of Tennesse sauce. I pretty like their Tennesse sauce. In fact, we requested for another plate of this sauce. I ate my Chicken Fingers with this sauce as well and my sister actually mixed her pasta with this sauce as well. Lol. Btw, I cannot really give a very high rating for this dish. This is because I didn't try their burger as I cannot eat beef. But, if only the sauce itself then I can maybe give a higher rating.

El Cactus Bistro and Bar

Probably this is the only western restaurant in Port Dickson that I know. El Cactus actually serves Mexican cuisine.

So, this is how it looks like around 6pm like that. It looks a little more romantic during the night time with all the candles lighted up in the dark environment but don't expect too much lah.

Pan Fried Red Snapper (RM35.00)

Pan Fried Red Snapper is actually a dish that served with buttered potatoes and boiled broccoli, carrot and cauliflower.  According to the menu, it was suppose to be buttered potatoes but what I think he gave us was actually a hash brown. Anyway, is ok lah because I like to eat hash brown. So no issue. I think the sauce is nice and it taste good with the fish as well.

Mixed Grilled
Rating: No comment because I don't eat beef.

For your information, I am not the one that ordered the food so I am not sure what is this. If I am not mistaken this is Mixed Grilled, a combination of grilled beef, chicken and prawns served with vegetables & choice of either mushroom, black pepper or BBQ sauce. No comment on this because I don't eat beef but I tasted their black pepper sauce. Not bad.

Spaghetti Seafood Alio Olio with Sun Dried Tomato (RM28.00)

I like their alio olio. The taste is good and the taste is just nice. I think this is the best among the dishes we ordered that night.

Cactus Polo Loco (RM25.00)

Cactus Polo Loco, grilled chicken served with your choice of sauce with mashed potatoes and salad. This is sucks. Definitely, I wouldn't go for this anymore. First of all, the sauce is like a bit tasteless. Secondly, is chicken breast which I hate so much.

French Fries (RM10.00) ~ Small 
Rating: 3/5

So, this is their fries (*Obviously). It taste like..... fries lor. Haha. No comment on this actually.

Fajitas is actually a Mexican specialty where a choice of seasoned beef, chicken or seafood with laco spices are grilled on sizzling hot plate served with flour tortillas, Mexican rice, cheddar cheese, guacamole, sour cream and salsa sauce. This is my first time eating fajitas. The seafood itself is quite nice la the taste but if everything mixed and eat together, I think is average only.

Morganfield's

Morganfield's is an Europeanized American casual diner specializing in pork ribs. A wide range of products are available here which includes mouth-watering appetizers, crispy salads, succulent steaks, fresh seafood, juicy burgers, chicken, delightful sandwiches, and of course, their signature pork ribs - Sticky Bones!

So, this is how Morganfield's in Pavilion looks like.

So, what come into your mind when you see this picture? Why so few people one? Hmmm.. Should be not nice huh. Don't get cheated by this picture. Actually this picture was taken during the weekday 5 to 6 pm.

We went early for dinner that day. 

Tadaa... This was how it looks like after office hour around 7 something like that when we were about to leave that time.

So, this is how their menu looks like. I prefer the book style menu which is easier to see.

Jack Daniels Glazed Iberico Baby Back ~ Per Slab (RM45.90)

Jack Daniels Glazed Iberico Baby Back are served with crispy onion rings and coleslaw. 

I think this is the best of all. The taste is just perfect but I don't really like the onion rings. Too much onion. It would be perfect if the onion rings can be switch into french fries.

Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs ~ Half Slab (RM39.90)

Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs are served with crispy french fries and coleslaw. It tasted a bit like tomato sauce rather than BBQ sauce. I thought perhaps it was my problem but my friend also have the same opinion. So, that mean is not my problem la. Haha. I like tomato sauce but somehow I don't really like this taste. I don't know why. We actually ordered half slab each and that was too much for us as well. Imagine I am a meat lover but I can't even finish it and my friend actually forced herself to finish it. Don't get me wrong, she actually forced herself to finish her own meal not mine. I think this is a bit too much. If you are not that hungry or if you are small eater, maybe you can consider sharing. In terms of coleslaw, I got no comment because I don't eat coleslaw.

Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs ~ Half Slab (RM39.90)

Smoked Peppercorn Spare Ribs are served with red skin mashed potatoes and garden veggies. If you are a black pepper lover then you might like this. For me, I think one or two bite is okay but eating this whole thing would be too much black pepper.

In terms of drinks, if I am not mistaken they do served alcoholic drink. Obviously, we didn't order that. Anyway, we ordered Coke and Iced Lemon Tea (RM8.90 each) to share. These two drinks are free flow. There are a few more drinks are free flow as well. Sorry for being so cheapskate. Lol.

There is one thing that I wanna highlight about Morganfield's in Pavilion is that their service was very good. I am very satisfied with their service. The staffs are friendly and they served us well as well.

Betty's Midwest Kitchen

Went to this place once with my family. Then my friend told me there was a place in Damansara selling a dish called "dog food" but she can't remember the name of the restaurant. So, we decided to gave it a try after going to Paradigm Mall that day. When we reached only I found out that, oh.... I went to this place before. I went twice and twice also have pretty lot of customers which I remember I waited quite some time before I get a place to sit. All the tables are full and there are queue and still there are people coming in. This happened months back. Sorry for the late blog. Just browse through my computer and found these photos so I decided to blog about it. For the environment wise, I think not bad where it resemble a little bit of American style. For the food wise, we tried their dog food (fries drenched in gravy, topped with cheese and oven cooked) which I think nothing special...perhaps I don't really like cheese. We also tried their country fried chicken (a quarter chicken marinated and special deep fried for crispy skin and tender meat. Served with traditional home-made country gravy, house mash potato and peas) which I think the price during that time was quite cheap for a quarter chicken and I kinder like their  home-made country gravy, house mash potato. Lastly, we tried their aglio olio with mushrooms (spaghetti sauteed in olive oil, garlic, bacon and mushrooms) which I think it doesn't really taste good.

Brussels Beer Cafe

Brussels Beer Café is a great place that serve delicious Belgian cuisines as well as a wide variety of imported and draft beers where some are imported from Belgium, Ireland, England, Denmark, Germany and etc. They are the only restaurant serving draft Hoegaarden, Stella Artois and Leffe fresh off the tap. If I am not mistaken, they are also the only restaurant in Malaysia that serve Hoegaarden Rosée. I think this is the best beer I ever drank so far because Hoegaarden Rosée is not so bitter and it brings a little bit of sweet taste which I like it so much. For ladies, there will be a ladies night on every Wednesday 6pm onwards where you are entitle to buy Hoegaarden Rosée for only RM10.00 per half pint. For the food part, so far I only tried their Brussels' Meatball (traditional pork meatballs braised in Leffe Brune sauce, onion and mix herbs), Pork Ribs (grilled whole pork ribs served with Belgian stoemp, sautéed vegetables and BBQ sauce) and Brussels' Style Pork Knuckle (crispy roasted whole pork knuckle, served with sautéed potatoes and mushrooms, accompanied by brown sauce). I love their meatball so much where it tastes so perfect with their Leffe Brune sauce, onion and mix herbs especially when the sauce is hot. Their pork knuckle and pork ribs quite nice as well. Sorry, no photos for the food as my phone run out of battery right before the food are serve. Anyway, I think it worth a try.

Coffee Chemistry Signature

Have you ever heard about art on coffee?? I guess everyone also did right?? How about the one with the 3D effects?? It seem to be quite popular nowadays. And where can you get it?? I guess you can get it everywhere. Anyway, the one that I know and have tried so far is actually the Coffee Chemistry Signature which is located at the First Subang Mall in SS15. So, here we go for another friend's birthday celebration. More 21st birthday celebration to come this year. Well, our previous plan was to celebrate it at loudspeaker by having dinner and karaoke session there. However, due to certain circumstances we changed our plan and end up celebrated it at Coffee Chemistry Signature. They are known for their art on coffee especially the one with the 3D effect. Unfortunately, non of us have order that so no photo for that. The coffee art they create is so unique and is beautifully designed for each cup resisting us from stirring it. Anyway, don't get me wrong. It's more than just a coffee cafe as they do serve a wide variety of food as well such as pasta, chicken chop, steak, butter herb rice, pie, salad, hailam mee, seafood mee and etc.

Dining at Teeq Brasserie

Never know that Lot 10 got rooftop and the existence of this restaurant too until I saw it in Groupon. Sorry for being so outdated. Haha. Anyway, since my buddies birthday were coming so we went and buy the voucher from Groupon. We bought four RM49 for RM100 cash voucher which mean that we only need to pay RM196 for RM400 cash voucher. Is around 51% discount. So, we went over last week Tuesday. Surprisingly, there were pretty lot of customers and the environment was quite nice as well. Besides that, their services were pretty good and satisfying. Their serving was quite fast too. Well, for the food part, I think is quite nice as well but the sauce are pretty little. Not enough for me. I was supposed to order BBQ Roasted Spring Chicken, unfortunately they said sold out already. According to the waitress, this dish have high demand. Must be very nice har. Lol. Since I'm a chicken lover and I do not eat beef so I order Dream of Maryland, a roasted chicken maryland with beef bacon, mozzarella cheese, served with mash potatoes and market vegetables. I requested them to separate the beef bacon and I gave it to my friend. My friend say the beef bacon quite nice. Anyway, I like their mashed potatoes. After the meal, we celebrated their birthday with the cake we bought from RT Pastry. Since all the buyers are chocolate lover, we decided to buy a chocolate cake instead (based on buyers' preference and not the birthday boys' preference). Lol. So, we bought mirror chocolate cake. By the way, I don't think the cake is nice. Perhaps I'm just too full. We, 6 persons ate around RM465 that night but the total amount we actually need to pay is RM261 only.
